What is Community Supported Agriculture or CSA?

Comumunity Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a consumer based movement which allows families to directly access farm fresh produce, while simultaneously supporting sound agriculture practices and the local economy.

How Does CSA Work?

Simple. Contact us for an application, complete and return with your payment. You can shop at either of our farm stands and your purchases are deducted from the credit established by paying early. No need to bring cash or fuss with writing a check. Your credit can be used for all products at our farm stands whether it be for fresh vegetables, frozen meat, milk, cheeses, cooked food or whatever.

How much does it cost for a share?

An annual share costs $100.00. For every share purchased by May 15th you will receive an additional $5.00 shopping credit towards our products. If you buy 3 shares that is $315.00 you will have to shop at our farm stands. We have set our share prices low so that you can customize your committment to fit your need for fresh vegetables and other products.

How many shares should I buy?

That is entirely up to each family. We will be open approximately 25 weeks. You should consider what you might use in that period and determine what best fits your budget.

What if I don't use all of my shares?

Unfortunately, we will not refund or "rollover" your remaining credit at the end of the year. So, if you find that you are not spending your shares, consider getting some frozen meats or canning some products.
