Our Sweet Corn
We are well known for our Sweet Corn –Today we plant over 100 acres of several varieties for a constant supply from mid-July through mid-October.
Hand picked every morning for delivery to grocery stores along the Mid-Coast region, inland to Augusta Gardiner and Waterville stores, plus supply our two retail farm stands long with farmers markets in Brunswick three times a week.
In The Cooler
Dairy products include Smiling Hill Farm milk, both white and flavored in glass bottles, homogenized skim, low fat and whole milk, half n half and heavy whipping cream for the strawberries.
We carry many varieties of cheese handcrafted from cows and goats milk from several companies including Appleton Creamery, Sunset Acres and Balfour Farm.
We have deli tubs of soft goat cheese, plain, in olive oil, herb garlic plus more flavors. Varieties of yogurt from Balfour Farm and Swallowtail Farm.
Fresh farm eggs from Bowden Farm, several kinds of pickles and beet relish from Morse's Sauerkraut, smoked shrimp, mussels, salmon kabobs and other spreads from Grindstone Neck; AND we always have Home Made Baked Beans.
Farm Stand Specialty Foods
Spear's Farm Stand is your headquarters for many choices of Maine Made Products stocked on our shelves. There is the "Blueberry Corner" that has blueberry jams, chutneys, syrups, honey, and maple syrup in hand painted blueberry bottles.
You will find a wide selection of other jams and jellies, pickles and relishes, infused olive oils, pasta sauces, Maine Sea Salt grinders and Maine Sea Cost Coffee.
Check out our salad dressings, pickled products, granola, dry beans to bake, crackers and almond butter....Plus many gift items to take back home.....
Spear's All Natural Beef
We are proud to be joining a trend in Maine of raising beef for our customers. Our cattle are grass fed and receive no antibiotics or growth hormones.
Our animals are processed under USDA inspection. We sell individual cuts, quarters and sides to our customers. Our All Natural Beef can be found at our farm stands.
